Titles, Awards and Main Ring Competitions
CAC | Certificat d`Aptitude au Championnat ia a national grading. It is up tot he national kennel clubs to decide in which and to which dogs this certificate can be awarded. The CAC counts towards a national champion title. |
Res. CAC | The Reserve CAC is awarded to the second best dog which was given the qualification „excellent“ at the relevant class. |
CACIB | Certificat d`Aptitude au Championnat International de Beauté de la FCI The only dog which can be taken into consideration for the CACIB are those which have been awarded „excellent 1st“. A CACIB can only be awarded if the dog in question has been assessed as being of superior quality. The CACIB is not automatically and compulsorily linked to the „excellent 1st“. |
Res. CACIB | The Reserve CACIB is awarded to the second best dog which was given the qualification „excellent“. It is however not compulsory to award the Resreve CACIB. |
These titles above will be given to dogs and bitches. | |
BOB | The dog and the bitch which are proposed for the CACIB, the best junior dog and the best junior bitch and the best veteran dog and the best veteran bitch which have received the qualification „1st excellent“ compete fort he „Best of Breed“. |
BOG | Each BOB of a breed at one FCI group compete for the „Best of Group“ . |
BOD | Each BOG will compete fort he „Best of Day“ at the current day. |
BIS | Each BOG during the whole show compete fort he „Best in Show“ at the last day. |
Austrian Awards | |
ÖJCH | Austrian Junior Champion 3 x Best Junio or 2 x Best Junior + 1 x CACA at the Intermediate- or Open Class until 24 months apply at the ÖKV With this title it`s not possible to enter the Champion Class! |
ÖCH | Austrian Champion 4 CACA 3 different judges working dogs like the LM need min. 2 CACA at the Working Class + 1 x CACA at the Intermediate- or Open Class apply at the ÖKV There must be a minimum of 1 year and 1 day between the first and the last CACA. |
ÖVCH | Austrian Veteran Champion 3 x excellent 1st at the Veteran Class no time limit apply at the ÖKV |
CAT-J | Austrian Champion for Gun Dogs – Championat Autrichienne du Travaille A dog or bitch which was winnig a working competition and also received the CACA or CACIB at a national or international show can apply for this title. |
